Casa De Moor Heaton Moor

If you're strolling down Heaton Moor Road in Stockport and happen to catch the scent of sizzling lamb, roasted spices, and freshly brewed coffee, chances are you’ve arrived at Casa De Moor Heaton Moor-a lively Mediterranean-inspired eatery that feels more like a vibrant gathering spot than just a place to dine. Nestled at 60 Heaton Moor Rd, this restaurant has quietly become a neighborhood favorite, effortlessly blending the hearty spirit of Mediterranean cuisine with the friendly vibe of a local café.

Step inside, and the first thing you notice is the warm, unpretentious atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you could turn up solo with a laptop for a quiet morning cappuccino or gather a table of friends for a full-on mezze feast. With wheelchair-accessible entrances, seating, and facilities, the space is designed with inclusivity in mind-everyone is welcome.

The Mixed Grill is the ultimate go-big-or-go-home option. A carnivore’s dream, this platter is loaded with juicy lamb kofta, sizzling chicken wings, and tender kebabs, all infused with those unmistakable smoky Mediterranean spices. Craving something lighter? The Bruschetta hits the mark-crusty bread, fresh tomatoes, herbs, and a drizzle of olive oil that whispers summer on a plate.

If you’re an early riser, the breakfast menu at Casa De Moor Heaton Moor is pure gold. The Full English Breakfast is both classic and comforting, while the Mediterranean Breakfast Plate adds a zesty twist with olives, hummus, halloumi, and warm pita bread. Vegetarians have no shortage of options either, with the Vegetarian Mediterranean Breakfast offering a satisfying and colorful start to the day.

Egg-lovers will feel right at home here. The Eggs Benedict is a silky, rich standout-perfectly poached eggs draped in velvety hollandaise sauce atop a toasted muffin. Pair it with a strong cappuccino or a pot of their aromatic tea, and your morning’s sorted.

Casa De Moor isn’t just about mornings, though. Lunchtime brings out the tapas-style plates and wraps that make this place shine. The 7 Padron Peppers Tapas bring just the right kick, while the Fajita Wrap packs smoky flavor and satisfying crunch. The Lamb Kofta is another hit-seasoned just right and served with a creamy dipping sauce that balances it all.

For seafood fans, the Sea Bass is a show-stealer-pan-fried until golden with that crispy skin you dream about, served with light Mediterranean accompaniments that keep it fresh and clean.

Now let’s get real-every good meal deserves a drink. Casa De Moor doesn’t slack here either. You’ll find a thoughtful wine list with choices like Chardonnay to elevate your mains, or a Sangria if you're chasing something fruity and relaxed. Want something lighter? A cold Peroni or bottle of Efes beer is ideal. There’s also a range of cocktails and spirits if you’re feeling fancy (or it’s just been that kind of day).

And don’t leave without dessert. The Baklava is sticky, flaky, and nutty in all the right ways-definitely worth the extra ten minutes on the treadmill. For something to sip alongside it, their tea selection is surprisingly impressive. It's not often you find a place that can whip up a killer meze platter and brew a pot of proper herbal tea.

What makes Casa De Moor Heaton Moor stand out isn’t just the food-it’s how effortless it all feels. The staff are relaxed yet attentive, service is quick without being rushed, and whether you’re popping in for a quick bite or lingering over wine and small plates, you never feel like you're overstaying your welcome.

It’s this easygoing blend of flavors, atmosphere, and flexibility that keeps people coming back-whether for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a great cup of coffee with a view of Heaton Moor’s bustling street life.

The entire experience was wonderful. The service was attentive and our waiter was very nice. The food came fairly quick and was delicious. For the price, which I think is very reasonable, it is a must try. I have paid much more for food 1/4 of the quality. We will be putting it on our list of favorites and in the rotation.

This was a lovely place to visit! The staff were lovely, very friendly and accommodating. Halal meat is available here, just make sure to ask the servers. We got the sizzling fillet (halal) which was delicious and incredibly generous! One portion can easily be shared between 2 people. The mixed grill was also well cooked and seasoned nicely. We had a lovely night and want to say a huge thank you to the staff.
